Dear Bill:

You are truly an 'A'-mazing man. Thank you.

Five, ten or fifteen years from now, you may look back and come across this letter. By then... having sold homes and even entire neighbourhoods umpteen times, you may fail to make the connection. Lest you forget, let me state the facts.

We decided on a house to buy which we thought was suitable for Chris and I, and our two cats, Sherlock and Dr.Watson. You made a valid suggestion to view it again in the daytime before committing. This done and on the way to write up the offer, you took Chris to look at another house that had just come on the market. Destiny. Chris will forever thank you and if I could get my cats' attention long enough to question them, I know the answer is a resounding "YES" (that's MEOW in cat language).

Chris told me that all the while you were showing him the house at 44 Osbourne Crescent, he was very skeptical. Because he knew it was THE house, he was bracing himself for a let down only to find that the price was 6.5% less than the first house. Chris was beside himself as I, of course, had yet to view it and announce it "SOLD". Bill we are indebted to you for finding us this house. You really had no other motive but to see us get settled right even if such altruism cost you.

House hunting and having to place your own house on the market is a stressful time. Thank you for reducing the whole process to a mere 3 weeks.
